The tour will last two months and kick off on September 19th in Boston, MA and wrap on October 29th in Seattle, WA.

Gillespie premiered his new single – a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me – last week via Alternative Press. This was that song for me. Making this type of statement pulled me out after a long, long relationship. Saying exactly what’s happening in your life is therapy. This is my therapy.”

Norwegian heavy metal band Sahg have premiered the first single from their upcoming fifth studio album Memento Mori. The single titled Sanctimony shows that Sahg are releasing even darker music than before. It is a monster of a track clocking in at seven minutes and 30 seconds long in total.

“Hide behind a shield of religion and let it justify your evil deeds.”– Olav Iversen (vocals, guitar)

Stream Memento Mori here or pre-order a digital version here. The guys unfortunately do not have any live UK dates however be sure to pencil in the album release date on your calendar – 23rd September.

The Apprehended – At Arm’s Length

The first track The Apprehended’s most recent offering At Arms Length is Still flying and it’s perfect for allowing yourself to get lost in music as the whole composition seems to engulf you. The slick guitar riffs and duality between drums and bass captivates in a way that no other music out at the moment does. This is all topped off excellently with enchanting vocals from Michael Pitt who almost hypnotises with his display of emotion. Read more

September Code – III

The first song on September Code‘s most recent album III that is really noticeable is the second track You May Leave Now, which includes an apprehensive guitar riff which is reinforced by alluring vocals. However, it feels like there is something missing to really beef up this song and make it feel complete. The guitar seemed a little absent in the chorus but this is redeemed in the solo. The drumming is basic and although does a rudimentary job despite it lacking excitement and passion. Read more
