DMA’s Release New Video For Do I Need You Now?

Australian Britpop inspired band DMA have released their video for Do I Need You Now? taken from the band’s second album For Now.

The album was released in April and charted in the UK album charts at #13 and in the independent charts at #2.

The video was directed by Jake Jellcich (Dua Lipa, Blossoms) in London. Jake was presented with both the gold and silver awards for his work with Jarryd James in the Australian Cinematographer Society QLD Awards.

Vocalist Tommy O’Dell stated about the video: “We really liked Jake’s previous videos, and we wanted to give him full creative control for Do I Need You Now? He captured the mood of the song perfectly, and it was nice to just stand still for once.”

Guitarist Johnny Took spoke about the new album saying: “Last time around, we were still working out what kind of band we wanted to be, and we still are. We still have that jangly rock n roll aspect but it’s matured in other ways. It feels like a natural progression for the band.”

DMA’S are scheduled to play this years Reading and Leeds Festival and to support Liam Gallagher in Finsbury Park. The bands live dates are below:

Mon 25 Southampton Engine Rooms
Tue 26 Exeter Phoenix
Wed 27 Reading Sub 89
