Four Year Strong Release A Christmas Song

Four Year Strong have covered the Christmas song Somewhere In My Memory from classic 1990 movie Home Alone.

The track which was originally written and recorded by famed songwriter John Williams was nominated for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards following the release of the classic film.

Vocalist/guitarist Alan Day stated their motivation behind the Christmas cover: “We’ve wanted to record a Christmas song for as long as I can remember, Dan and I finally decided to sit down and figure out a way to make it happen and we couldn’t be happier about how it turned out. We wanted to do a song that hasn’t been covered a million times, and “Home Alone” is one of the best movies ever made, so “Somewhere In My Memory” seemed like the perfect song. We hope our rendition gives everyone as much holiday cheer as we had while recording it. Merry Christmas!”
