Shark Infested Daughters Release New Album “These Tides Our Tombs”

Shark Infested Daughters have released their new album These Tides Our Tombs on November 11th. As well as including 10 new tracks, the band have also released a bonus acoustic version of their first single Tidebringer. The album is produced by Rob Kukla (Arbitrator) with mixing and mastering done by Sacha Laskow (Every Hour Kills).

The album which revolves around themes of love and loss has the originality to break down any genre walls and create a diverse fan base for the band. The sound has the consistency that veteran fans will know and love but still will remain dynamic enough to attract new listeners. The album has been described as being crushingly heavy, yet beautifully melodic, which is a quality rare for an unsigned band.

An album stream can be found on Shark Infested Daughter’s bandcamp available now.

Shark Infested Daughters commented upon the release as part of the press release:

These Tides, Our Tombs” is a project that has been in the works for the last two years. Our entire goal was to create an album that challenged all of us musically plus would break down the genre walls placed upon us by our previous releases. On a lyrical standpoint, the album is an emotional roller coaster touching on subjects such as loss, suicide and depression. “These Tides” symbolizes the negativity that surrounds us; “Our Tombs” symbolizes how we choose to deal with them. It’s either sink or swim. We hope the fans will feel the same raw emotion we put into writing this record.”

The band are currently touring Canada with The Body Politic and Corvus The Crow no plans have been made to come to the UK as of yet, but with a release this strong it can only be a matter of time.
