As Lions drop Rag’N’Bone Man cover, announce huge UK tour

UK alt-rock five piece As Lions have unveiled a special acoustic performance of the current hit single ‘Skin’ by Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, but as well as this, the band will be back in the UK for their first ever headline tour, playing a run of 17 dates in September.

Patent Pending announce covers album ‘Other People’s Greatest Hits’

As they get ready to hit the UK for their Spring Break Tour, Patent Pending have announced that they have a new cover album, titled ‘Other People’s Greatest Hits’, ready for fans to get down with their bad self. With the album set for a May 26th release, it’ll be interesting to see what they decided to lay down on physical format instead of live performances.

Tengger Cavalry cover Megadeth’s ‘Symphony Of Destruction’

It’s a strange one to listen to, but you can’t say that this Mongolian metal band aren’t doing things very uniquely. Tengger Cavalry add so many different flavours of string instruments, vocal techniques and sounds that its hard to stop listening after the first round and will have you coming back for more!

Apocalyptica announce ‘Plays Metallica By Four Cellos’ UK shows

Bringing a melodically classical sense to one of heavy metal/thrash metal biggest and baddest bands on the planet, Apocalyptica have announced a few anniversary shows for their ‘Plays Metallica By Four Cellos‘ album. These shows will include other Metallica classic songs as well as the ones featured on the record.

Scandroid Release New Video

Scandroid, is the 80’s synth pop side project of electronic artist Celldweller or Klayton. During the past few days Scandroid released a video for their cover of Tears For FearsShout. Klayton spoke out about the cover saying ‘I was moved the instant I heard Tears For Fears’ ‘Shout’ on U.S. radio in 1985.
