Oceans Ate Alaska Release Video For ‘Escapist’

Midlands metalcore outfit Oceans Ate Alaska have announced the upcoming release of their next album Hikari, due out July 28th via Fearless Records. This will be the first release with Jake Noakes fulfilling vocal duties since his addition earlier this year. Hikari translates to ‘light’ in English, reflecting the band’s current mindset and highlighting major strides in the group’s sonic vocabulary. With a lyrical and musical theme rooted in Samurai mythology, the 11-track album blends traditional Japanese instruments with Oceans Ate Alaska‘s dynamic flare.

Oceans Ate Alaska reveal new vocalist.

Birmingham metalcore sensations Oceans Ate Alaska have announced that Jake Noakes (ex Faultlines) is joining the band as their new vocalist.

The band also stated in a post on Facebook “We are also very excited to inform you that the new album now is fully recorded and it sounds INSANELY SICK! Without doubt, this record is going to melt some faces”.

Citizen, Turnover and more announced for Slam Dunk

If you are looking forward to Slam Dunk Festival, this latest announcement will appeal to two sides of your musical personality. UK Tech Fest drops first announcement incl. The Black Dahlia Murder

The first announcement from UK Tech Fest is here and they are not messing around! The two UK exclusive so far come in the name of Obscura and The Black Dahlia Murder who will be no doubt bringing huge sets with them.
