Aaron Gillespie has announced he will be co-headlining a North American tour alongside Ace Enders and Vinnie Caruana. The tour is in support of his forthcoming new album Out of the Badlands which is due out August 19th. The tour will last two months and kick off on September 19th in Boston, MA and wrap on October 29th in Seattle, WA.
Gillespie premiered his new single – a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me – last week via Alternative Press. You can listen to a rare stripped down version of the song here. Talking about why he decided to cover this song, Gillespie said: “Sometimes a song just resonates with you right where you are and with what you’re going through. This was that song for me. Making this type of statement pulled me out after a long, long relationship. Saying exactly what’s happening in your life is therapy. This is my therapy.”
I Can’t Make You Love Me is the first single release from Out of the Badlands which is a therapeutic mix of old and new. You can pre-order the album here.
