Title track; The Start of Something is a typical pop punk track with gang vocals galore. The lead vocals on this track really stand on their own merit and are a high point in this song.

We Are Not Sorry is a classic pop punk song about growing up. The bridge in this track is a quiet moment that easily has the potential to be a fantastic sing-a-long during live shows.

You Put The Call Out has a very New Found Glory sounding guitar riff, which is never a bad thing, and starts the song off at speed. “Desperate times always call for desperate needs” is just one example of the stellar classic pop punk lyrics in this tune. Secondary vocals in the bridge bring to mind a Mark Hoppus style, an all round solid song.

Ending this EP is Give It Everything, which is a head banger from start to finish, with a belter of a chorus and all the energy of a Neck Deep tune. The way this track bounces through its paces, its guaranteed to leave you wanting more.

Production wise, this EP has a way to go, but in terms of songwriting this is bang on the money. Who Saves The Hero? clearly understand pop punk and fit very squarely in this genre. This is undoubtedly a band that has the potential to take strides and make their way in this industry.
